SZILVIA HORVÁTH-NASZÁK
HUNGARIAN LANGUAGE TEACHER

Hello My Future Students,

As a language teacher, I have a passion for speaking people's language, understanding their motivation, and applying sensitizing teaching methods. My job is my hobby. I am a fan of Hungarian language, grammar and linguistics. I look at my mother tongue inside and out, use it, teach it. It is very important to me to put language teaching in a cultural context, and also to have a friendly and direct contact with my students. I'm a language learner myself, so I can fully understand your challenges, your difficulties, and your joys. Currently I am studying Slovak (A1) in private lessons.
I was born, have lived and studied in Hungary. I have been teaching Hungarian as a foreign language since university. To foreigners in Budapest, Finns in Helsinki, Canadians in Canada, Canadian-Hungarians in Canada, Slovaks in Slovakia, Hungarians in Slovakia. Children and adults, without transfer language, with English transfer language, with Slovak transfer language (beginner, A1).
I have lived for 8 years in the Hungarian capital, Budapest, half year in Helsinki and 2 years in Canada, currently living in Slovakia. I am teaching in Bratislava and its catchment areas (Dunajská Streda, Galanta, Senec and Bratislava) and also teaching online.
